A cleverly written and funny script with a sweet story really kept me engaged in the first half of this film. Then the movie really becomes something else…which I did appreciate but it's ultimately not what I was expecting, or honestly really wanting.
But Mikey Madison's performance was one of the most convincing and entertaining that I've seen in a long time
The pacing definitely slowed down for a bit too long and I felt like the film kinda lost its momentum for a bit. The very last scene is exactly what I wanted to happen between two characters but another main character was totally vilified which I wish wasn't the case.
Just for her alone, I'd recommend seeing this!
