Story
The city of New Rome faces the duel between Cesar Catilina, a brilliant artist in favor of a utopian future, and the greedy mayor Franklyn Cicero. Francis Ford Coppola wrote the screenplay in the early 1980s, but the film was held back partly because of his financial debts.

The acting is very good, but at the behest of a dead-end plot and a lack of environment

I really feel like Coppola had no one to tell her; "Hey, it’s stupid"
Some scenes were simply bizarre; actors walking around in different parts of the room for no reason, like I was watching a Cirque Du Soleil show without the art house beauty, the garish and exaggerated portrayal of the rich as stupid pigs, and just the general delivery of the direction of was weird and not fun to watch.
