Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter (2006) first aired
Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he goes from college student to vengeful serial killer with the guidance of his father, Harry.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I felt like I was watching the old Dexter series. In the first series, Dexter would often reminisce about a period in his past and in this latest series, it’s like going back to those scenes, but expanded.
This latest series is even more so
Another thing, as dark and sad as the original series was, it was also full of dark humor. I hope the whole series is as good as the first episode.
The acting is spot on
I almost lost it when I saw a young Baptist, HA! And oh my gosh, don’t get me started on Deb!
