The cast gives some great performances
The storytelling is strong, with twists and turns that keep you hooked, and the cinematography captures the haunting atmosphere well. That said, I must point out that Ms.
Lynch’s performance felt a bit weak
His performance came across as very one-dimensional, and it was unfortunately a standout in a cast full of strong, nuanced performances. It’s not about race: I can think of several talented black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.

It’s disappointing that his performance didn’t live up to the quality of the show as a whole. However, the show is worth watching for its story and the outstanding performances of the other cast members.
