Story
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living performing high-risk assassinations
He soon meets a worthy adversary: a persistent British intelligence officer who tracks him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. The action of the novel “The Day of the Jackal” takes place in 1963 and deals with an assassination attempt on the then President of France, Charles de Gaulle.
The action of the series is moved to the modern era

but for now I’m just watching and enjoying the show
One of the biggest disappointments is Lashana who plays the female lead, she’s a pretty good actress but the role just doesn’t suit her, she’s supposed to be a weapons expert but without giving away the plot she had to fire over 200 shots at someone and well. Let’s just say that if she had been on the grassy hill we wouldn’t be talking about the fate of JFK today, there are many people better suited for the role, but unfortunately the casting people made a mistake and we have to come to terms with that.

I’ve only seen 6 episodes and I’m waiting for the next one to premiere, if the show continues like this it will be a hit regardless of Lashana. The new season of “Silo” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
